Beit Ruth Educator Selected as “Teacher of The Year”
Ever wonder why Beit Ruth’s girls have such high academic achievements, scoring above the national average on Israel’s matriculation exams, or jumping from a 3rd-grade reading level or 4th-grade math level to grade level in just 6 months? It’s because of teachers like Natalie Gerber.
A Math and Russian educator, Natalie was selected as “Teacher of the Year” by Israel's Ministry of Education. Surrounded by Ministry leaders and her Beit Ruth colleagues, she was recognized at a special ceremony at the Eretz Yisrael Museum in Tel Aviv. A poster highlighting her dedication read, in part:
“Natalie creates a warm bond with the girls, and cares for them while also setting a high bar. She does not give up on them. She attends all activities in the Village and always comes to the rescue with love and her whole heart, for the girls’ success and for advancing the school.”
Mazel Tov, Natalie! We are so proud of you!
And speaking of academic accomplishments, Beit Ruth girls and staff celebrated our girls' achievements during a special graduation ceremony. Our graduates showed up EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. ready to learn, worked hard, and understood that education is key to a better future. And did we mention that they aced their matriculation exams (similar to SATs)! What a tremendous start to the next chapter in their lives.
Kol Hakavod to our graduates and teachers!
