Center of Knowledge
Through our onsite Center of Knowledge, Beit Ruth raises public, professional, and government awareness about issues related to domestic violence and abuse, particularly how at-risk girls have been marginalized and underserved. We present solutions that have positive long-term economic, social, and health benefits, while breaking the generational cycle of abuse. Learn more here.
Beit Ruth leverages our decades-long on-the-ground expertise as a model provider of direct and onsite therapy, education, and evidence-based programs. Led by Ronit Lev-Ari, a nationally recognized expert in the field of violence against women, Beit Ruth is at the forefront of advocating for early intervention in response to abuse, and changes to policies that are biased toward girls and young women. Through participation in coalitions and forums, we are helping to lead social change efforts about the crisis of abuse and violence in Israel, while increasingly engaging with international communities, specifically in the developing world.
Beit Ruth shares its best practices and decades-long knowledge with diverse professionals, from NGOs to Policymakers, Police to Educators, Social Workers to multiple IDF Units, and others. Through trainings, working sessions, and seminars, we address policy reforms and on-the-ground programs and services critical to effectively serving at-risk youth and specifically, at-risk girls. Our expert staff are also invited presenters and panelists at professional events throughout Israel, and around the world.
We know that real social change happens when we work with and through other organizations and change-makers to create more impact than we could ever achieve alone. Together, we can effect greater change at the systemic level – beyond the Village – to the community, state, and international level. Through the Center of Knowledge, we will help shape policy and needed resources; transform other non-profits; mobilize citizens, influencers, and policymakers; and change the world around us.
